In her fifth adventure, Addison sets out to discover who stole a kidney from her newest client - a kidney that was still very much attached to its owner when it was taken. With her brand new P.I. license in hand, a marriage proposal on her mind, and Aunt Scarlet and Rosemarie as backup, nothing could possibly go wrong. Join Addison and the gang for a real Charlie Foxtrot of a case in Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot An Addison Holmes Mystery Book 5 (Audible Audio Edition) Liliana Hart Connie Ventress 7th Press LLC Books

I loved this series ... but I have to agree with some of the other reviewers - why were there so many inconsistencies? Some minor (she got a chin-length haircut earlier but this cut is her first deviation from super long hair?) to really confusing ones - is Nick's grandfather, now a senator, the same one that died and left him an inheritance in the first book? What happened to the house? Only a month has past since the last book so what happened to the last five months of her lease? Where's the car that Nick bought her? And where was Savage throughout the book? Also, I'm not sure if I missed it but was there a novella in between books 4 and 5? Because it seemed that she kept referencing the Romeo Bandit (or killer, I can't remember now) and it seemed there was a whole story line there with Aunt Scarlet, Rosemarie, and Savage but I don't really know. I loved this series, the interplay between characters, and all the fun - up until this book. But for those die hard fans of Addison, might as well read it to find out the ending of the series. Just be prepared.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot An Addison Holmes Mystery Book 5 (Audible Audio Edition) Liliana Hart Connie Ventress 7th Press LLC Books Reviews

The whole time I was reading this book I felt like I was reading a Stephanie Plum book and I just couldn't invest in the book. I love Liliana Harts work, but this book just didn't do it for me. The characters are good just too similar to Janet Evanovich's characters.
I was really looking forward to this book but was very disappointed how short it was and how much it cost. I would have like to read more about Savage and Nick. I loved the ending but felt it was rushed and wished the book went on at least another week before it actually ended. I love Scarlet and had some laughs but just felt the book was rushed. I hope the next book is longer and the price more appropriate. Still love the series and the author and looking forward to more books from her.
All of these books make me laugh and I find them incredibly entertaining...which is the whole reason for reading a book, not to sit there and judge its every single, tiny, little infraction. It isn't a written biography on the life of JFK. It is a fun little romantic comedy and it did its job. It was funny, it made me laugh and it kept me entertained from cover to cover. I'm a satisfied customer and I will be reading the next book in the series.
I anticipated the release for weeks only to be totally disappointed with the story. I expected more from this author and this character. There was no sexual tension as there had been in previous AH stories and it seemed to drag at points. Unfortunately I wanted to read the AH that I knew and loved and this wasn't it. No Nick--No Savage--slow and boring. While her Aunt was interesting, she didn't offer the same level of entertainment that I expected.
I go back and forth on this series. I enjoyed it. I really did. I also enjoyed the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evonovich, which is just so darn similar to this one. This author has an obvious talent for the written word. It's just a shame that talent doesn't include coming up with an original storyline as well. Addison = Stephanie. Rosemary = Lula. Aunt Scarlet = grandma Maziur. Savage = Ranger. Nick = Morelli. Joyce = Victoria. Dickie = Greg. Etc... this is such a blatant rip off that I'm surprised this author isn't being sued for copyright infringement. Now, just on its own, this series has consistency issues. What happened to Addison's house? How is Nick's Grandfather still alive? Is there a book missing? Who is the Romeo Bandit? I'm thinking maybe that book had to be pulled because of the similarities to Stephanie Plum also having a case that involved a nudist club?? Yeah... im not impressed and I won't be reading any more from this Author. Evonovich does it better and this "Author" is a fraud.
Lots of inconsistencies. Hair was cut in a previous book, but acted like this was first hair style change since high school. She was driving Nick's Audi, but in previous book she was driving her own car that nick had bought her. Why wasn't she staying at her own house close to Savage? Overall book was okay. Lot's of build up in the case for a quick, disappointing conclusion. Very little of Savage, who I would have thought to be present more, maybe trying to talk Addison out of marriage? Overall I've liked the series, but feel that this was just a thrown together book to end the series.
I HATE leaving a three star review. I adore Liliana Hart and I adore Addison Holmes. However, there were a lot of inconsistencies in this book. Sure most of them were really small and some might not notice them but they are there all the same. I also noticed a number of typos in the book. It was shorter than the other Holmes novels and it just felt very rushed.

A couple of the Inconsistencies were

~Why isn't Addison staying in her little house to get space from Nick?
~ In Whiskey You're The Devil Addison is driving a "tasteful BMW X5" that was purchased by Nick but in WTF she talks about leaving Nicks Audi behind during her time away from him. Also it talks about her giving up her Z because she couldn't afford it but I thought for sure she crashed that in book one so it wouldn't have been just a payment thing.
~Plus all the typos.

I could list a few more but I don't want to give any major spoilers about the plot.

Savage doesn't appear in this book until very late.

The interaction between Nick and Addison is very limited. There is only one love scene and it was very hurried.

Overall I was a bit disappointed by this book. I feel like an editor should have caught some of these issues before the book was released.

The plot concept was solid but it felt rushed and incomplete.
